Liquid air 'offers energy storage hope'

I hope this article stays around for a while. If it goes away the core concept is to take energy produced by solar, wind or other and freeze air during off peak times. When energy is needed the air can be warmed to spin turbines.

Very logical and cool  - 70% efficiency too.
