Clean Drinking Water in many countries is difficult to get. There are many projects where water from the moisture in air is practical, especially with a solar power driven unit. With the PU-1 Energy Saving system we are proposing projects that take some of the energy savings and put it to use creating clean drinking water. In some locations one can start a small business selling this water locally so that people do not have to travel.
This is not a panacea but it does do the job and the situation is only getting worst around the world.
This first entry is dedicated to supplying a AWG-30H/0 water unit and a solar power pack to refugee camps where cholera is a serious problem. We believe that once a unit is purchased the cost of freight will be donated by airlines such as Air Canada, British Airways or Virgin going to places such as Kenya which has one of the largest refugee camps in the world. In addition to the water unit we will supply filters and if there is positive feedback I will ask for help contacting businesses to donate the cost of the filters for at least 5 years.
Provide your feedback on this post by letting us know which location we should donate to and whether we should try to pay for larger units instead. I think we should wait to see the response first but I am willing to abide by the wishes of the posters. I will set up a dollar counter and survey for this project. Currently a Pay Pal account is set up but based on your feedback we could use other means. Remember that Paypal takes about 3% of the donation + 30 cents so please don't get upset if you see weird totals.
In the event that not enough money is collected then the money will be given to disaster relief fund that is current.
