Save on Energy Bill and Help Your Neighbor

Are you a mall owner, small or large building owner with more than one tenant, or just want to help reduce energy problems without being out of pocket. Maybe the following is something that you would be interested in.

In some countries the need to provide stable and lower cost energy is becoming one of the biggest stumbling blocks for the local economy. Small businesses are stopping production or sales, productivity is hampered and consumers are having difficulty paying the increased cost.

I have been lucky enough to be involved in several projects that integrate more than one technology to provide for improved food production, cleaner water, waste management and of course access to cheaper and more stable power.

The systems we deploy provide for the opportunity to reduce the draw on the grid, increase use of green power and provide stable payments necessary for funding structures. That being said we benefit a lot more groups if we could partner with owners to implement the energy saving system throughout the complex or building.

Examples are probably best.

Equipment Used

·        Cleanpoint smart grid systems to monitor, control and report power, water and gas usage.

·        Meters and controls to turn on and off devices.

·        PU-1 Energy system to reduce power consumed.

·        Alternate energy sources such as solar, wind, water.

·        Server to report energy use and savings over the web with possible cell phone applications (lights, security etc).

Small Apartment Owner

Step one

Implement the PU-1 for part or all of the building to provide immediate cost savings. Users of the energy would initially pay full amounts to offset the finance costs and payback the owner. The ongoing reporting would provide the owner the ability to either invest in additional saving features (we have many) or simply reduce the cost of energy for tenants. There are a lot of side benefits to our system in that tenants would be able to know their energy usage habits at a much more granular level and be able to adjust with real feedback.

Step Two

Add additional energy monitoring devices to allow tenants to really understand and control their energy use. Turn lights off on the way to work, don’t user a timer to turn on heat or air conditioning, do it remotely just before you enter the apartment. Optimize hot water generation with extra energy stored for later use.
